The Youtube series Asian Paints Where The Heart Is, featured the Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara actor, Abhay Deol in its third episode. He gave a tour of his sweetly designed house in Goa. Beautifully nestled in the forests and lush greenery, his house looks nothing less than a greenhouse far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Building a house is the same as bringing life to something and so has Abhay put in all his heart and soul into this house.

One can sense freedom and closeness to nature in the house because of its astounding forest view and unique furniture pieces. He also made sure that the ceilings are high and the design is very minimalistic and simple yet a lot soothing. With cool shades of colour on the wall and elegant décor, the place simply brings a smile to your face and makes you forget the busy city life. He has used basic materials like brick and granite wooded colours when it comes to base or foundation in the house adding to its minimal dressing. The kitchen too relaxes you as you cook your favourite delicacies while being surrounded by lush greenery.

A Glasshouse In The Middle Of A Forest
A glasshouse in the middle of the forest is what the actor fondly calls his house. He further tells how he had been visiting the neighbourhood for 20 years making him sure about having a perfect getaway house. His vision was to bring the environment into the house and create the human-nature co-existence vibes. While getting this house-made, he specifically wanted no windows in the house. Instead, he wanted sliding doors so that there is no barrier between nature and him. The house gives you total calm, meditative vibes and brings in a sense of comfort both physically and mentally. With a pool amidst greenery and a glass exterior, he wanted to infuse the environment into the lifestyle.
