And recently, one such ranking was revealed, wherein it showed the safety index of several cities around the world. As it happens, Abu Dhabi has been given the top rank!
Abu Dhabi Tops Safe City Index
In data released by Numbeo, it was revealed that Abu Dhabi has topped the safety index. Yes, it has been ranked as the World’s Safest City, making it an ideal destination to work and live in terms of security and stability. In a news report by Khaleej Times, it was revealed that Ajman and Dubai have also snagged spots in the top five safest cities index. As a result, the position of UAE is strengthened as an ideal destination according to the aforementioned factors. Not to mention, this is not the first time Abu Dhabi has earned the top spot. It has been topping the chart since 2022!
A Glimpse Of The Safety Index
This is hardly surprising as a survey released by the Department of Community Development in the previous month showed that 93% of the residents in Abu Dhabi feel safe while walking alone at night. It should be noted that Numbeo, a global provider of data on economic, social, and safety areas, releases data and rankings for many cities on a yearly and half-yearly basis.
