Sir Bani Yas, another popular Abu Dhabi cruise port, has finished work on a new pier. This will allow two ships to port together, thereby increasing the load factor to over 5,000. The rebuilt jetty has eight mooring dolphins, firefighting gear, and solar lights.

The new jetty has eight mooring dolphins, as well as firefighting apparatus and solar lights. Ships used to anchor approximately a kilometre offshore previously.

The passengers had to transport themselves by tender. Now it can easily accommodate 5,000 passengers without having to tender. This cuts down on waiting time and improves the whole experience.
