But then there are times when a viral street food video takes over the Internet, attempting to offend even the most loyal mango lovers. One such video is that of Ahmedabad’s Aamras Dosa with cheese. It certainly isn’t mangolicious, to say the least.

Ahmedabad food vlogger, @foodie_eraa recently posted a reel on Instagram, introducing foodies to Aamras Dosa stuffed with cheese. He captioned the video ‘Cheesy Aamras Dosa’ and in no time the video went viral garnering over 2.9 million views with 29.5k likes. Forget dosa stuffed with Schezwan sauce, paneer or even chocolate toppings. This video shows a street food vendor in Ahmedabad giving a mango and cheese twist to regular dosa.

In the video, an Ahmedabad-based street food vendor is seen spreading dosa batter on a hot pan. Next, he pours cold aamras all over the batter and spreads it evenly using a spatula. Then he adds shredded cheese over it. After this, the street food vendor goes on to sprinkle dried fruits and nuts like cashews, almonds, raisins and coriander leaves.

The Making & Reactions Behind This Unusual Dish
Finally, he cuts the Aamras Dosa and makes small rolls out of it. Placing the dosa rolls on a steel plate, he serves them with a bowl of cold aamras. In no time, this Aamras Dosa with cheese managed to ruffle the feathers of both mango and dosa lovers. Instagrammers had quite a field day dissing this Aamras Cheesy Dosa in the comments section.
One Netizen comments that they’re filing a petition to ban dishes like these. The Netizen accuses the street food vendor of spoiling the original flavour of dosa. Another joked that watermelon dosa could be the next dish on these lines, sprinkled with watermelon seeds. Yet another person sarcastically asked people to continue ruining authentic dishes.
