Akasa Air To Start Flights To Guwahati & Agartala; They Will Fly Now Non-Stop To 8 Cities

Akasa Air is on its way to commence flights and services to the Northeastern part of India. They are expanding to different places in India, one at a time, and this time their target is to initiate services to North East India. The newly-launched airline made all the announcements on the new routes and new network on Monday. Read on to know about its new network.

Akasa Air Starts Flight Services To Guwahati & Agartala To Its Network

The airline added Guwahati (Assam) and Agartala (Tripura) as their seventh and eighth destinations respectively. And the services are soon going to begin on 21 October 2022. With this expansion, the airline is initiating a one-stop flight between Agartala and Bengaluru. Gladly, there is no need to change any flights in Guwahati. With starting services to these Northeastern destinations, Akasa Air is starting additional daily flights on the Bengaluru-Chennai route on the same date, 21 October.

India’s newest airline will now operate and provide services on 11 non-stop routes in 8 cities. The 8 Indian cities are Agartala, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Mumbai, and Kochi. Also, their plan is to grow their networks to 300 weekly flights by the end of their summer schedule, October 2022.

Enjoy The Flavours Of The East With The Airline

With the festive season approaching very very soon, the airline is providing a special festive menu. For Durga Puja and Dussehra, Cafe Akasa of Akasa Air is offering this festive menu to experience the flavours of the east. Cafe Akasa is the airline’s buy-on-board meal service. The menu has some lip-smacking delicacies of the east such as Radhaballavi, Cholar Dal, Amshatto Khejur Chutney, and Puran Potli Tart. Passengers can avail of this special menu till 31 October. This airline believes in proving warm and friendly experiences to the passengers and this menu for the upcoming festive season focuses on that.

The newly-launched airline has a lot of plans to expand the brand and make it accessible to every part of India. According to plans, the fleet size will rise to 18 by March 2023. The next plan is to add 54 aircraft to the existing ones and make it a total of 72 aircraft.
