Al Ustad Special Kebab is truly one of the oldest hidden gems in Meena Bazar. This 40-year-old Iranian restaurant will transport you back to the olden times with its pictures and old antiques around the place. The place is super popular with the locals, residents and even tourist. Flock in at any time of the day or night and you would see people enjoying delicious kebabs. The late Mohammed Al Ansari moved to Dubai in 1941 and then started the restaurant which is now being continued by Majeed who is the eldest son. The place has seen royalties like Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai and celebrities dine in very often. Coming to the food you surely need to try the Chicken and Mutton yoghurt kebab, Zafarani chicken as well as the saffron and sumac rice. The meat is so well marinated and is freshly cooked per order.
