Whenever we think about the most iconic dosa spot in Bengaluru, Vidhyarthi Bhavan comes to our mind. The iconic eatery in Old Bengaluru’s Gandhi Bazaar has been serving the best masala dosas in the city since 1943. The loyal patrons of the eatery wait patiently to get a seat and do not mind sharing a table with strangers to try the delectable dosas. And, whoever visited the place know that the waiters over there have a special talent. They can balance multiple plates at one time on their hands, one on top of the other. Even business tycoon Anand Mahindra is in awe of their productivity.
Anand Mahindra Is In Awe Of The Waiters’ Productivity At Vidhyarthi Bhavan
Anand Mahindra is so impressed by the waiters of Vidhyarthi Bhavan that he feels that their skill must be recognised as an ‘Olympic sport’. Mahindra shared a video of a waiter on his Twitter handle and stated that he could even be a ‘contender for Gold’. In the 2.20-minute clip, a man is seen making the dosas, and another man is seen collecting the dosas on a plate. He places around 15 plates on one hand, from the palm to the end of the arm. He then walks up to the tables and serves the dosas to the customers. Simply by watching the video, we realise this is nothing short of a stunt!
We need to get ‘Waiter Productivity’ recognised as an Olympic sport. This gentleman would be a contender for Gold in that event… pic.twitter.com/2vVw7HCe8A

Girl Balances A Tower Of Beer Glasses With Two Hands
While Mahindra appreciated the skill of the waiters, many Twitter users raised questions about the hygiene related to serving dosas in that particular way. They said that the bottom of one plate touches the upper surface of the dosa on the plate below. Some others expressed their love for the legendary outlet. The video thus received mixed reactions from the Internet. Meanwhile, in the video’s comment section, another user posted a video of a girl balancing a tower of beer glasses with two hands. He wrote, “Sir, competition is everywhere.”
