Jujjuvarapu Charles John from Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh got selected for the International Air and Space Programme 2023. This programme is conducted by NASA and is being selected, which is a huge deal for sure.

Out of around 60 students from across the world, only two from India got selected for it. Charles is a very bright student, of course, but financial crises are holding him back from living his dream.

Though Charles got selected for this programme, he will have to travel to the United States for it. His parents do not have enough money to cover the expenses of his trip. They are now looking at raising funds so that their son can live his dream.

Charles is an intermediate first-year MPC student who has always been inspired by astronauts and their stories of achievements. His main focus is space research. This brilliant boy has been following blogs by astronauts and giving out exams by NASA.

His father, Joshua Jujjuvarapu, used to work as a daily wager and is now a preacher. Charles said that he pressured his parents for a year so that he could have a laptop for his space research. While speaking to the Times of India, Charles mentioned that because of his laptop, he got to know about this programme. He appeared for the programme and the interview using it.

He said that he had just completed his 10th exam when he had to appear for the interview for the NASA program.
