With Brahmastra creating a storm at the box office, director Ayan Mukerji visited Somnath Temple to fulfil his wish, wishes rather! Mukerji had promised himself that he’d visit the Jyotirlingas after his film gets released. The director accomplished his third Jyotirlinga visit his year with none other than Ranbir Kapoor by his side.
Ayan Mukerji & Ranbir Kapoor Visit Gujarat’s Somnath Temple
Ayan took to Instagram to share pictures of his recent trip to Gujarat’s Somnath Temple. The pictures show Ayan standing next to Ranbir Kapoor outside the majestic temple. He revealed in his caption that he felt happy and energised that they could make it to the temple. The director wore a pale yellow kurta and white pyjamas. While Ranbir, with his hand on Ayan’s shoulder, wore a navy blue Nehru jacket over his kurta-pyjama.

Ayan’s Third Jyotirlinga Visit In The Year
The actor-director duo smiled widely at the camera. Brahmastra’s humongous success at the box office definitely brings a glow to their faces. This is Ayan’s third Jyotirlinga visit this year. Earlier, he visited Ujjain’s Mahakaleshwar Temple, three days before the release of the film. He also travelled to Varanasi’s Kashi Vishwanath Dham to complete shooting for the melodious love ballad Kesariya.
