Ayodhya To Be Developed As A ‘Climate-Smart City’ By UP Government

Ayodhya is prominent globally for being the holy birthplace of Lord Ram. This city of Uttar Pradesh is soon going to be developing a ‘Climate-Smart city’ soon. The Uttar Pradesh government is planning on this initiative with a distinct focus on renewable energy. Also, the Uttar Pradesh urban development will be working on this within a few months on a Greenfield township based on a Vedic theme.

Up Government Initiated The Development Of Ayodhya Into ‘Climate-Smart City’

In the presence of Cheif Minister Yogi Adityanath and a few ministers on Tuesday, everyone discussed the presentations on short-term and long-term plans. This initiative will focus on covering the demands of the people who are willing to live in a self-sustainable township. The detailed report for this initiative has already been completed.The UP Government feels that this will boost tourism in Ayodhya after the full construction of the Ram temple.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spoke to the officials, during the presentation, to provide shelter for everyone including the homeless, poor, marginalised people, and nomads. It was one of the important aspects of the election manifesto of BJP.

Adityanath wants the development of this climate-smart city to get over before the Ram temple. Also, the Urban Development Minister A K Sharma made sure to the officials that the township in this city is based on renewable energy. In fact, the urban development department has initiated the planning procedure of refurbishing the Kukrail reserve forest in Lucknow and building it up to a proper tourist attraction.
