18 Places That Serve The Best Parathas In Mumbai, Because Who Doesn’t Love A Paratha?!

If you were to ask us what our favourite breakfast food is, we’d unanimously say that it’s parathas. Hot, fresh off the tawa, and slathered with butter, one paratha is just never enough. Aloo Paratha might be the king of the Paratha kingdom, but the other variants aren’t too far behind. Unfortunately, Mumbai doesn’t boast a Parathe Wali Gali like Delhi, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t get parathas right here in the city. We set out to look for the best doughy delights, and these are the places that make the best parathas in Mumbai.

1. Only Parathas

At Only Parathas, they go all out when it comes to the pièce de résistance. With a wide range of parathas on offer, our favourite is the Punjabi Punch Paratha, which comes with a delightful mix of cheese, garlic, red capsicum, and rajma. And the best part is that all their parathas are made in desi ghee, which is the only way to make them.

2. Mumbai Paratha King

We can never be happy with just one kind of stuffing in a paratha, so it only makes sense to choose from the ‘Super Stuffed Paratha’ section of the menu at Mumbai Paratha King. And if there’s one that we all love, it’s the Corn Cheese Onion Paratha. It’s almost like you are eating pizza!

3. Prithvi Cafe

The iconic Prithvi Cafe is an extension of the Prithvi Theatre. Forever bustling, it’s always difficult to find seating at the cafe. Besides their cheesy nachos, their parathas are loved by all. The Chilli Cheese Paratha comes with a side of creamy dal makhani. And if you are a little health-conscious but still feel like indulging in one of these yummy meals, then you have the choice of opting for a multigrain paratha.

4. Khasiyat The Paratha House

Is one kind of paratha ever enough? No, it really isn’t. And the guys at Khasiyat agree with us. This is why the first thing on the menu that caught our eye was the Paratha Basket. With three different variants of the Paratha Basket, we say go for the biggest one and load up your basket with any of the paneer and cheese parathas on the menu.
