Indian trains are one of the most convenient modes of transportation. Millions of people travel every day via train because it is cheap and quick. On the 13th of August, Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Minister of Railways in India, announced that Bhubaneswar Rajdhani will soon get coaches of Tejas Express trains. This means that travelling in Bhubaneswar Rajdhani just got more comfortable. Here are all the upgrades that passengers can expect.

Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Will Now Have Tejas Rakes

This revamped Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express is set to be flagged off today, on the 14th of August. The flagging off will be done by Ashwini Vaishnaw himself. The new Tejas coaches are capable of reaching a maximum speed of 160 kilometres per hour.

This particular Rajdhani travels between the capital of Odisha, Bhubaneswar, and New Delhi. On the way, it makes a total of 13 stops. These are Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, Hijli, Tata Nagar Junction, Muri Bokaro Steel City, NSC Bose J Gomo, Koderma Junction, Gaya Junction, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Prayagraj Junction and Kanpur Central.

These coaches will make travelling between the two destinations more convenient and comfortable. Since the Tejas rakes offer better facilities to passengers, the Bhubaneswar Rajdhani will be more fun and comfortable.

Facilities In Tejas Rakes

Tejas rakes are significantly better equipped as they have plush comfortable seats, better air conditioning and more. Its design is aesthetically pleasing, just like its interiors and seatings. It is also equipped with cool technology like fully automatic electric doors.

These rakes also have a passenger information system which informs the travellers about upcoming stations. What is more, it is equipped with a bio-toilet. Bio Toilets are more environmentally friendly than regular ones.

Passengers will now also feel safer as it also has CCTV cameras for surveillance. It also has an enhanced environmental control system which will control the temperature inside the train. It even has a fire and smoke detection system which means that it will be able to alert and to some extent limit if a fire ever blazes in the train.
