Every time you think about visiting Maharashtra’s beautiful hill station Mahabaleshwar, scenic beauty, mountains, various points and strawberries are all that might pop your mind. But now here is another reason for you to visit the most favourite and visited hill station of Maharashtra. Mahabaleshwar is now also the home to India’s first two-wheeler museum. 

An Astounding Collection, Vintage Miles

Vintage Miles is India’s first two-wheeler museum in Mahabaleshwar. This museum is started by a Pune based entrepreneur Vineet Kinjale. He has been collecting these road beauties for the past 30 years. This museum has an astounding collection of more than 500 bikes.

Collects, Repairs And Restores

Vineet has been a bike aficionado and has been fond of bikes ever since he was 10 years old. He not only loves to collect bikes but also repairs and restores them. He has a wide array of bikes, from an ancient moped with a meagre 50cc engine to a 1950 Royal Enfield motorcycle. Among other items in his collection are the LML PL170, Kelvinator scooters, Kinetic scooters, Rajdoot scooters, Ramona 1960, BSA Bond, and Hercules Moped 1967. The walls of the museum have posters of vintage and retro bikes.

Limca Book Of World Records

The museum offers bike enthusiasts an audiovisual aid that enables them to hear what the bikes sound like. In the Limca Book Of Records, Vineet has the record for owning the most motorcycles in a collection. Almost 90 per cent of these bikes are in good working condition since Vineet has a team of 12 employees who maintain these bikes.
