The dish which has been traced back to Persia was introduced to South Asia by the Mughals who brought it from Central Asia via Afghanistan. With so many loyal patrons of the dish worldwide, Biryani always deserved a day to itself. And this is finally becoming a reality.  Popular rice brand Daawat is celebrating July 3, 2022 as the first-ever biryani day in the world.
