5 Bizarre Reasons Passengers Got Kicked Off Planes & They Are Not Acceptable

You can be asked to boot from a plane for plenty of reasons such as getting drunk, being abusive with the flight crew, or tampering with the emergency exit door. But then there us these ludicrous incidences of passengers getting kicked off from a plane. Several airlines had come under the scanner for removing passengers from flights for bizarre and seemingly unnecessary reasons. Read on!

1. Smelling Bad

If you are ever stuck in the middle seat with someone with a raging body odour, you can get them kicked off from the plane. A Jewish family was booted from a flight over body odour. The family of three had been sitting on the plane for no more than five minutes when an attendant told them there was an emergency and they needed to leave the aircraft. This is truly unfortunate.

2. Kissing On A Flight

Actress Leisha Hailey was escorted off a Southwest flight for kissing her girlfriend. The airlines said that kissing was unfriendly for the skies. The airlines defended their case saying that the passengers complained that the kissing was excessive. However, Leisha called it discrimination and took to Twitter writing “Since when is showing affection towards someone you love illegal?”

3. Travelling With A Crying Baby

United Airlines had asked a Canadian singer Sarah Blackwood to de-board because her toddler son posed concerns. The singer was seven months pregnant when she was booted from the flight because her toddler was crying too loud. As the plane began to taxi, her son fell asleep. However, the aircraft returned to the gate, and a flight attendant escorted Blackwood and her child off the plane. Blackwood, who had a window seat, said her son never left her lap. She has taken to Twitter to spread the word about what she deems discrimination against families. This Hotel In British Columbia Gives Couple 18 Years Of Complimentary Stay For Making A Baby.

4. Showing Too Much Skin

A majority of us hardly put any effort into airport style. We prefer outfits to make make it through the security line and long flights. But a JetBlue flight passenger was almost denied her seat because of the length of her shorts. The passenger called the airline out for body-shaming after they told her that clothing choice was offensive to passengers aboard the flight. The flight attendants refused her service because they found her shorts too skimpy. They also suggested wrap a sweater around the waist or wear a blanket on flight. Flight Attendant Warns People About Gross Aeroplane Water In Viral Tik Tok Video.

5. Wearing Sagging Pants

A man was kicked off of a Spirit Airlines plane in Chicago after getting into a tiff with a flight attendant over his wardrobe. According to reports, the attendant had asked him to pull up his saggy pants after being told that his pants were excessively low and were hanging below his buttocks. The airlines’ code requires passengers to wear adequate clothing. The man was escorted off the plane and booked on the airline’s next Orlando-bound flight available.
