A traffic constable in Coimbatore was caught on camera slapping a Swiggy delivery agent. The video went viral garnering a lot of attention from netizens who were shocked by the traffic cop’s appalling behaviour. The Swiggy delivery food agent was seen crying in full public view. Coimbatore Cop Slaps Swiggy Delivery Agent
Mohanasundaram, a Swiggy delivery agent witnessed a private school bus being driven rashly. In his words to Times Of India, the bus was just about to knock down a woman pedestrian on Avinashi Road on June 3. The Swiggy delivery agent along with other motorists tried to stop the bus by blocking their vehicles to speak to the driver. At that moment, a traffic constable Sathish from Singanallur police station arrived at the scene.

Cop Transferred To Control Room For Appalling Behaviour
According to Mohanasundaram, the traffic constable asked him why he intervened in the matter. He snatched the Swiggy delivery agent’s phone, damaged his earphones and slapped him repeatedly. In a viral video, Mohanasundaram is seen trying to talk to the police. But the traffic cop repeatedly slaps him, leaving him sobbing in the public eye. The incident went viral with netizens slamming the cop for assaulting the food delivery agent in broad daylight. Strict action was taken against the cop, Sathish, who was transferred to the control room.
