Columbian Woman Tastes Jalebi For The 1st Time & Her Reaction Has The Internet Divided

Indians and their love of Jalebi is something we all are so aware of. Jalebi is a spiral sweet which is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Every Indian celebration is incomplete without this sweet on the platter. Not only in India, but the mithai is also found on every Indian restaurant’s menu worldwide. But it looks like the taste was not much welcomed by a Columbian woman who tasted it for the 1st time.

Columbian Woman Tries Jalebi

A video was seen on social media where a Columbian woman tasted Jalebi for the first time. The video was uploaded on Instagram by Colleen Gowda where he made his wife taste Jalebi for the very first time. His wife was dressed in a saree-looking desi. She took the Jalebi in a tissue and took a bite of the famous Indian sweet. She disapproved of the taste with a laugh and said, ‘Oh no, no babe.’ Her husband had posted the video with a caption asking people to not cancel her as she is at least trying it followed by a laughing emoji.

Netizens Gave Mixed Reactions

The video was shared multiple times and many people reacted to the same. The video garnered more than 93 thousand likes and more than 4 million likes. There were also more than 100 comments on the same. Some people praised the Columbian woman for trying out the mithai without any hesitation. One user wrote that she might take some time to understand and adjust the taste. Many people just couldn’t understand why she did not like it. It was hard for them to accept the fact that someone rejected their favourite sweet.
