The Delhi-Dehradun expressway is one of the most-anticipated highways in the country right now! This high-speed corridor is likely to reduce the travel time from the current five hours to two-and-a-half hours upon completion! It will give seamless connectivity to commuters between the two cities and will have both ground-level and elevated sections. It is being built at an estimated cost of ₹12,000 crore.

The six-lane Delhi-Dehradun expressway will be about 212 km in length. Currently, commuters have to drive on a 250 km stretch to travel between the two cities. What’s worse is they even have to cover the congested stretches of Ghaziabad, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Roorkee, and Haridwar. Once open, they will be able to skip these areas altogether!
