A couple from Rajasthan decided to get married in Personal Protective Equipment( PPE) kit after the bride tested positive for COVID-19 right before the wedding. So, while you’ve heard about guests wearing ladki wale and ladke wale masks for weddings, here some of the close relatives and the priest himself, wore PPE kits to ensure their safety during the wedding. The coronavirus pandemic might have played spoilsport to weddings in the country. Nevertheless, people found unique ways to celebrate the happiest days of their lives. From virtual weddings to reduced guest lists, people have adapted along the way. Similarly, a couple from Rajasthan’s Bara district decided to get married at the Kelwara Covid Centre after the bride tested positive for COVID-19. And that’s not all! The couple, few close relatives and even the priest all wore PPE kits to ensure safety amid the risky situation.

According to News18, the couple got married on December 6. ANI also posted a video clip of the unusual; wedding on Twitter. In this video, the bride and groom wore PPE Kits, face shields and gloves, and sat in front of the havan kund. The groom donned a turban over his head. A priest also wearing a PPE kit was seen performing the ceremony in the video. The wedding video went viral on social media. A restricted guest list and COVID safety protocols issued by the government were followed by the wedding party.
