Actress Deepika Padukone won many hearts with her outfit and look at the 75th Cannes Film Festival. She made India proud by being the only Indian on the renowned festival’s jury. Now after a tight schedule and fulfilling all the jury duties, the actress is back in the country. She is spending some quality time with her family as they visited the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Vaari temple in Tirupati on her father’s birthday.
Padukone’s Family Ritual
On Friday, Deepika was spotted at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Vaari temple in Tirupati with her mother Ujjala Padukone, sister Anisha Padukone and father Prakash Padukone. The actress was in Tirupathi to celebrate her father., who is a renowned former badminton player, Prakash Padukone’s 67th birthday. The father-daughter duo was seen wearing purple shawls which were a token of blessing from the temple’s priest. It is reported that visiting Tirupati on Prakash Padukone’s birthday is a ritual that the Padukone family follows religiously. Every year no matter how busy Deepika is, she makes sure to be present for the ritual. The pictures of the father-daughter duo are doing rounds on social media.

Several Movies In The Pipeline
Deepika was last seen in Shakun Batra’s movie Gehraiyaan. The actress will be sharing the screen space for the fourth time with her first-ever co-star Shah Rukh Khan in Siddharth Anand’s next action drama Pathaan. The movie will release on January 25th, 2023. The actress will also be seen alongside Hrithik Roshan in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter which is slated to release on 28th September 2023. The actress also has The Intern with Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, which is the remake of an American movie, in her kitty.
