According to a report by Times Now, Uttarakhand will soon get its first Vande Bharat train running from Dehradun to Delhi. It will be flagged off on May 25th by the Uttarakhand Chief Minister and Prime Minister Modi. Additionally, it will reduce the distance between the two cities and the travel time will be approximately 4 hours and 45 minutes.
However, the route’s commercial operations won’t begin until May 29. The Delhi-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express has eight coaches and will travel through Haridwar, Roorkee, Muzaffarnagar, and Saharanpur.
The Dehradun Jan Shatabdi Express formerly held the record for travelling the distance between New Delhi Railway Station and Dehradun in the quickest time possible. It took six hours and ten minutes and the cost of the chair car from Delhi was ₹535, ₹805 for chair cars and ₹1,405 for executive class.

Details Of The New Vande Bharat Train
This new Vande Bharat train will be the sixth in Delhi and the first of its kind in Uttarakhand, bringing the country’s total number of Vande Bharat trains to 17. With these semi-high-speed trains, Delhi already has access to Ajmer, Varanasi, Katra, Bhopal, and Amb Andura. Additionally, the first Vande Bharat train, which runs between Puri and Howrah, arrived in Odisha last week.
The train will accelerate to 100 kilometres per hour in 52 seconds and then maintain that pace. The new train will have cutting-edge amenities including automatic sliding doors, GPS-based information systems, and bio-toilets. The new train’s prices have not yet been determined. It is estimated that the rates maybe 1.2 per cent more expensive than Shatabdi.
