On December 31, the Delhi metro will not allow passengers to exit from Rajiv Chowk after 9 pm. In order to avoid any problems, they have advised commuters to plan their travel appropriately.
The reason behind this decision is to lessen the crowding on New Year’s Eve. Anuj Dayal, Principal Executive Director, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, stated that, per the police authorities’ advice, exiting the Rajiv Chowk Metro station will not be permitted after 9pm on New Year’s Eve (December 31, 2023) in order to reduce crowding.
Passengers may still enter, though, until the final train leaves the Rajiv Chowk Metro station on December 31. He said that commuters are asked to arrange their travel schedule appropriately.
The regular schedule for metro services will still be in effect for the remaining portions of the metro network.
