Delhi Reports Maximum Number Of Crimes Against Senior Citizens

As reported by PTI, Himanshu Rath, founder of Agewell Foundation, has stated that Delhi has a higher density of the elderly population. He added that the cops are very active in the capital city. As a result, more reports of crimes against senior citizens are registered. He also added that people have ‘zero sensitisation’ about the needs of the older people. He further stated that during the pandemic, cases of abuse against elderly people have risen. These factors have led to an increase in the number of crimes against the elderly population.
