Delhi Government Will Arrange Free Ayodhya Travel For Its Senior Citizens

Senior citizens in Delhi can soon visit Ayodhya for a pilgrimage free of cost. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal revealed on October 26 that the Delhi government will arrange a free trip for senior citizens to the spiritual historical city of Ayodhya as part of the Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme. Senior Citizens In Delhi Can Soon Visit Ayodhya For Free

On October 27, Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal revealed to the media that he wishes every Indian should be fortunate to visit Ram Lalla. He further stated that Lord Ram has blessed him with enough to put him in a position to help people visit here for darshan. After offering prayers at Ayodhya’s famous Ram Janmabhoomi temple, Kejriwal announced to provide a free trip to Ayodhya to all senior citizens from Delhi. This comes after Madhya Pradesh announced a Ramayana quiz contest for its citizens, where winners can visit Ayodhya for free.

This Is Part Of The Chief Minister’s Teerth Yatra Yojana

Earlier the Delhi government announced the Chief Minister’s Teerth Yatra Yojana. Under this prestigious scheme, the city residents can commute to famous destinations known for spiritual and historical significance like Rameshwaram, Rishikesh, Mathura, Vrindavan, Dwarka, Haridwar and Vaishno Devi, free of cost. In a special cabinet meeting of the Delhi government, Ayodhya will be included in this list of free of cost pilgrimage tour programmes.
