For those who are travelling abroad for job, education and sports, the Delhi government has set up a dedicated vaccination facility at Navyug School, Mandir Marg. The vaccination centre is getting functional from June 14, 2021 and will vaccinate people travelling internationally for work, studies or sports. At this centre, citizens with relevant documents who need to travel abroad before August 31, 2021, can get their vaccines within 28 to 84 days of taking their first Covishield dose. Those who want to get vaccinated will have to show their passports and other documents to prove the reason for their travel.

Indians Travelling Abroad For Job, Education Or Olympics To Get Vaccines On Priority

International travellers belonging to special categories now have special SOPs issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. If they meet these criteria, they can get their second dose of the Covid vaccination sooner. This move is aimed at easing travel for those commuting to another country for education, a job or as part of India’s Tokyo Olympics contingent. The passports of these travellers will be linked to their CoWIN certificates. This will be applicable till August 31, 2021.
