There is hardly any other street food that is as universally loved as pani puri. The crisp puris filled with fragrant pani that is a perfect blend of sweet, tangy, and spicy is hard not to love. This street food gets enough love and recognition from Indians, but now, even people abroad are beginning to wake up to this delicious pocket of flavours. Recently, an eatery in Minneapolis shared a video of Americans trying Pani Puri on the street.

Pani Puri has long ruled the hearts and taste buds of Indians and now, it is slowly taking over the world as well. Recently, an Indian restaurant in Minneapolis called Curry Corner set up a tiny pani puri counter on the street, paying homage to the way it is sold in India.

The video shows different people on the street stopping to try the pani puri. The vendor is heard instructing them on how to eat this unique food. Most of them end up loving it and they’re heard calling the street food refreshing.

Now, you might be thinking that unless an Indian tries it, you won’t be able to truly believe whether it’s good. But don’t worry! An Indian did turn up to try the pani puri and gave it his seal of approval. He devoured not one or two but five pani puris! Honestly, this only seems much by comparison. If you eat this street food regularly, you know it’s all too easy to overeat these!

Many Indians flooded the comments section drooling over the pani puri. Some suggested that the vendor shouldn’t skimp out on the sukhi puri either! In case you don’t know, sukhi puris or dry puris are filled with an assortment of dry items and it is given as a palate cleanser after the round of watery puris.
