Chef Vikas Khanna is heading to Dubai for a one-night-only dining experience at Kinara by Vikas Khanna, where coastal Indian cooking takes centre stage. Called Forgotten Flavours Chapter III: Coast to Coast, the event will take place on November 21, 2026, at JA Lake View Hotel, bringing together regional culinary traditions, wine pairings and a fragrance-inspired welcome cocktail.

A Culinary Journey From India’s Eastern To Western Coasts

The dinner will feature a menu presented by Chef Vikas Khanna alongside Chef Ashish Kumar. Drawing inspiration from India’s eastern and western coastal traditions, the experience will focus on ingredients, culinary techniques and cultural influences that have shaped the country’s varied food heritage.

Rather than treating coastal Indian cuisine as a single culinary tradition, Coast to Coast aims to highlight the differences and stories that distinguish regional cooking. The event forms the third chapter of Kinara’s Forgotten Flavours series, which celebrates India’s culinary legacy through contemporary fine dining.

Guests can expect an evening built around the specially curated menu, with the chefs personally presenting the experience.

Bubbly Pairings And A Fragrance-Inspired Welcome

Food will be only one part of the evening. The menu will be accompanied by curated bubbly pairings from Torres, while Dubai-born luxury fragrance house Kala Huis will contribute a sensory element to the event.

The collaboration includes a fragrance-inspired welcome cocktail and an introduction to After the Gesture. Together, the food, wine and fragrance elements are intended to give the dinner a broader sensory dimension.

Live culinary moments and music will also feature during the evening, making this a hosted dining event rather than a standard restaurant reservation.
