There’s something about Dubai’s charm that makes it a favourite among travellers across the globe- agree? Well, from stunning sky scrappers to leisure activities and prominent landmarks, this city has given travelers a whole lot of Instagrammable attractions. And now, the tallest building in the world has emerged as the second-best location in the world to catch a sunset and the 11th best to see the sunrise. Mallory Square, a waterfront attraction in Florida known was ranked the best place to see sunsets.

A survey done by Superdry revealed Dubai’s Burj Khalifa as the most-watched landmark on Tik Tok. But, that’s not all! Two other attractions from the city also featured on the top 10. Curious? Read on to find out more about the survey.

 

Burj Khalifa, Global Village, Dubai Mall Ranked Most-Watched Landmarks On Tik Tok

In its survey Superdry analysed travel-related hashtags on Tik Tok and the study revealed that Burj Khalifa was the most-watched landmarks, cities and countries in the world. The hashtag #travel has 49.9 billion views on TikTok alone. The survey included 193 countries, 292 cities and 1,095 attractions. Their respective hashtags were analysed to find out which had the most views.

A combination of #travel[country/city] and #[country/city]travel was used for cities and countries. Videos that were not related to travel were disqualified from the research. While Dubai’s Burj Khalifa top the number one spot, two other attractions from Dubai also made it to the list. The Dubai Mall came in fourth while Global Village was ranked eighth.

Florida’s Walt Disney World Resort secured the second spot followed by Disneyland Paris and New York’s Times Square. Other landmarks that made it to the top 10 include Universal Studios Hollywood, the Eiffel Tower, Niagara Falls and the Taj Mahal.

As for the most-watched cities, New York took the top spot with 114 million views. Dubai came in third with 62.7 million, while Abu Dhabi also made the top 25 list, coming in at 24th, with 1.8 million views. Other Asian cities that made it to the list include Jakarta, Indonesia, Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City and Tokyo coming in fourth, fifth and eighth, respectively. Besides, Buenos Aires, Argentina came in seventh while Bogota, Colombia came in ninth. Paris took the 10th positing. Here’s a complete list:
