Since the coronavirus epidemic began in 2020, this will be the third Ramadan. RTA has declared that public parking places around the city would be free of charge for Eid Al Fitr across Dubai and Sharjah. Parking will be free from Saturday, April 30 to Friday, May 6 inclusive, according to Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority. The RTA announced free parking in Dubai and Sharjah on its social media channels and also that parking costs would reinstate on Saturday, May 7.
Government Announces Free Parking Dubai And Sharjah For Eid Al Fitr
Government employees will have off for a week during Eid Al Fitr. Whereas, private sector employees will have their holidays from Saturday, April 30 to Tuesday, May 3 or Wednesday, May 4, based on when Eid begins. In Sharjah, the holiday period is of 3 days instead of 7 like in Dubai. Further, revised public transport timings have also been announced on the account of the week-long holiday.

Timetable For Public Transport For Eid Al Fitr
The Red Line will function from 5 am to 1:00 am on May 2nd up to May 4th 2022.
The Dubai Metro Green Line will function at similar timings. The Dubai tram services will function from 6:00 am to 1:00 am from May 2nd till May 4th 2022.

The Gold Souq Station will be accessible from 5 a.m. to 12.29 a.m. the next day. Whereas the Al-Ghubaiba Station will be active from 4.14 a.m. to 12.58 a.m. (the following day). Satwa Station will be working from 4.57 a.m. to 11 p.m. (except for Route C01 as it will be active all the time). The Al-Qusais Bus Station from 4.34 a.m. to 12.04 a.m. (beyond midnight), the Al Quoz Industrial Station open by 5.05 a.m. to 11:35 p.m., and the Jebel Ali Station from 4.58 a.m. to 11.17 p.m.
Customer service centres will remain closed from April 30th to 2nd May. Services will resume on 9 May 2022. However, the Smart Customers Happiness Centres at Umm Ramool and RTA Head Office will be working round the clock.
