Explore Leh, Ladakh And Turtuk With New IRCTC Package Including Flights, Stay, Meals & Sight Seeing

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation launched a great travel package to explore Leh, Ladakh, and Turtuk for the month of August 2022. This new IRCTC package is a 7 days/ 6 nights trip and the perfect one to tick off the destinations from your bucket list. This air-tour package name is ‘Fascinating Leh Ladakh With Turtuk Excursion’ and its first departure starts on 12 August, the second on 17 August, and the third on 27 August 2022.

This IRCTC Package Includes Flights, Accommodations & Meals

Travelling with IRCTC is always a great option as each and everything falls under their responsibility. Under this IRCTC package, the travellers will get access to flight tickets, accommodations, meals, and exploring destinations. Ahmedabad, Leh, Nubra, Turtuk, Pangong, and Leh are the places that are a part of this entire journey’s itinerary. The 7-day journey to the mountains and lakes starts from the Ahmedabad airport.

Itinerary Of ‘Fascinating Leh Ladakh With Turtuk Excursion’ Package

  • After boarding the flight from Ahmedabad airport, the tourists will reach the Leh airport in the afternoon and then directly check in to the hotels. The first day will pass relaxing and accustoming to the high altitude to adjust to the oxygen levels of Leh and further destinations. Tourists can even stroll the market at night and enjoy the cultural show at the hotel before sleeping the night.
  • Day 2 marks the beginning of exploration and sightseeing. Everyone will have breakfast and then move towards travelling the Leh- Srinagar Highway. The touristy destinations to explore on that day are the Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, Shanti Stupa, and Leh Palace. Enjoy the experiences of  Magnetic Hill and witness the magic of the confluence of holy Indus and Zanskar. The last place to explore that day is the Alchi Monastery. Tourists will return to Leh and stay overnight there.
  • Day 3 starts with breakfast and then driving to the Nubra Valley. After checking in to the camp there, everyone will have lunch and then visit Dikshit and Hunder Villages. Venture across the monasteries and know about the people living in such places. Tourists can even enjoy a camel safari. For that, they need to arrange it themselves as it doesn’t fall under the IRCTC package. The third day will end with an overnight stay in the Nubra Valley.
  • On day 4, travelers will drive to Turtuk after breakfast. The fourth day will be quite low-key and they will explore the Turtuk valley that day. Just like day 3, they will have an overnight stay at the Nuba Valley.

Itinerary Of The Last 3 days

  • Day 5 starts with an early breakfast and then driving to Pangong. It will be a memorable day for movie lovers as the tourists will visit the location where the climax of the Bollywood movie ‘3 Idiots’ was filmed. If the weather is good and sunny, one can even luckily witness the 7 colour formations in the pristine saltwater lake. The tourists will spend the night in Pangong itself.
  • Day 6 will begin magically by enjoying the stunning view of the sunrise on the lake. After that tourists will have breakfast and then drive back to Leh. On the way, they will also explore the Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. After wandering around, they will check-in at the hotel. They can stroll around the market in the evening free time.
  • The next day, day 7 marks the last day of the beautiful trip. After breakfast, the tourists will be dropped off at the Leh airport to catch the return flight.
