You might have seen the drama series called ‘Taj’. And if you haven’t already guessed, one of our recent guests for the Sunday Brunch was the elegant, chic and gorgeous — Aditi Rao Hydari! The one who has mesmerised us with her thrilling performance as Anarkali. And while it is impossible to compete with her beauty, ‘Shukar hai, SUGAR hai!’

Aditi Rao Hydari On The Sunday Brunch!

Hailing from the royal family of Hyderabad, Aditi Rao Hydari is a talented actress. While speaking to her about living in Mumbai, she says that Mumbai is a fun and hustle city and loves living there. In fact, she moved to this city in 2010 and thinks that it is good for working professionals. Since her childhood was spent mostly in Hyderabad and Delhi, she finds Mumbai intriguing.

And out of many things, Mumbai’s food was interesting, especially dabeli and Usal Misal. She recalls never trying Usal Misal. But the most alien thing for her and the South Indian inside her was Schezwan Dosa! But given that she is a foodie and has been surrounded by blended cultures, she loves trying something new. And like every Indian, she loves golgappas! When we ask her about what other food she loves, Aditi mentions a list of street foods like chaat, chatpat aloo and kachori, kachori kadhi, and so on.

For Aditi, experiences with the people of the city are what help you build your opinion about it. And both Hyderabad and Delhi hold a special place for her. Hyderabad is home as all her cousins and entire family live there. And the city has a laid-back vibe that gives you a sense of peace. But Delhi was where she grew up with her mother and attended dance class. The city was responsible for the artistic side that we all see in Aditi.

Talking about her family, Aditi states that her grandfather was one of the first to join Democratic India. There is a sense of pride in knowing your history but living your life to the fullest is what one should focus on.
