Swiggy tweeted a question asking foodies what’s the first dish that comes to their mind when they hear the word “heartbreak”. And boy, did the answers have an array of sweet and savoury dishes. Let’s dive right into it. Ice cream seemed to be one of the most common answers. A Netizen even elaborated that he’d like vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce while going through a heartbreak. Well, the sugar definitely helps increase those dopamine levels, we say.

Ice Cream & Biryani Are Most Common Answers

After ice cream, the next most popular answer was… any guesses? No, it’s not a dessert, it’s India’s most ordered dish, biryani. I mean, what can be more comforting than tucking into a plate of aromatic biryani with tender meat? The fried onions, spices, and succulent chicken, mutton or even paneer pieces can be super comforting and even nourishing for the soul.

While these were two common answers, some specific ones included the crispy Chur Chur Naan, khichdi, dal, pasta, momos and even golgappe. Even banana pudding, butter chicken, pizza and burger made it to the list of dishes foodies would like to eat while going through a heartbreak.
