The secretary of Uttarkhand Tourism Dilip Jawalkar has announced a new ‘workcation’ concept to give people the ‘much-needed escape’ from the WFH woes. Nothing can perhaps come close to the picturesque charm of Uttarakhand. Some stunning views of the mighty Himalayas, a dash of forest greenery, with streams and rivers gurgling can give the needed respite from the boredom of the four walls of home. The cool weather, the fresh air and the splendid vistas will mesmerize your soul, soothe your tired eyes and improve your work efficiency for sure. With this new initiative of Uttarakhand Tourism, people will get the opportunity to work from marvellous locations like Mussoorie. Nainital, Dehradun, Almora, Lansdowne and more. Uttarakhand was also giving ₹1000 off to tourists on hotel bookings to boost tourism.

Tourists Will Get Rewards With The Tourist Incentive Coupon Scheme
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, Uttarakhand Tourism has stated, “Find a perfect balance between a busy and relaxing life. The energy of hills and the adventures around make Uttarakhand a top choice of #workcation. Have you booked your destination yet?” Also, there will be a new scheme called the Tourist Incentive Coupon scheme which will allow tourists to get rewards in the form of coupons. What’s more, people who are booking their workcations for more than three days can even get a discount up to ₹3000.
