We met and explored Delhi’s OG shopping market Sarojini Nagar with comedian Gurleen Pannu during an episode of Tere Gully Mein recently. After hogging on some delicious chole bhature and pakode, we played a fun game with her and asked her to describe fellow comedians in just one word! Scroll on to see how it went down.
Gurleen Pannu On Fellow Comedians
Gurleen Pannu, one of the best female comedians of the Indian comedy scene, needs no introduction. She has been a part of the industry for a while now and is friends with some of the biggest names in the industry. So, we played a game called ‘One Word’ with her and asked her to describe some of them in, well, one word!
We started with one of the most loved comedians in the Indian comedy scene, Zakir Khan. Gurleen described him as “bhai”. Next up, she described Samay Raina as “latent”. For Aashish Solanki, she promptly said, “Roast master!” She described Maheep Singh as a “cutie”. When we had sat down with him a few months back, Maheep Singh described Gurleen as “Yaar hai apni!”
Coming back to the game, in one word, she described Anubhav Singh Bassi as “paaji”, Tanmay Bhat as “wise”, Abhishek Upmanyu as “funny”, Rahul Dua as “fellow runner-up”, and Gaurav Kapoor as “very energetic”. When we asked her to describe Gurleen Pannu in one word, she hilariously said, “Legend, star, and global sensation!”
