How often do you hear stories of people celebrating the birth of a girl child? With increasing cases of female foeticides, dowry harassment and rape cases in India, it’s truly rare to come across such stories. But today, we have a special, heartwarming story where the birth of a baby girl is celebrated by lots of pomp and show in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. A salon owner in Gwalior offered free services in not one, but three of his salons in the city to celebrate the birth of a girl child. Salman, the salon owner gave free hair cuts to over 80 people in a day to tell everyone that the birth of a daughter brings immense happiness in one’s life.
To Celebrate Birth Of Daughter Salon Owner From Gwalior Gave Free Services In All His Salons
Salman Man’s Parlour in Gwalior witnessed a large crowd on January 4. Why you ask? Well, on December 26, last year, the salon owner Salman was blessed with a daughter. So, his three salons in the city had large posters put out reading, ” Ghar Mein Beti Aane Ki Khushi Mein, 4 January 2021 Ko Humare Saare Salon Free Rahenge”. This translates to “On The Happy Occasion Of The Birth Of A Daughter All Our Salons Will Provide Free Services On January 4, 2021”.

Salman Wishes To Convey That Everyone Must Celebrate The Birth Of A Child Irrespective Of The Gender
According to the Hindustan Times, the salon owner Salman stated to ANI, “Through this step, I want to give a message that the birth of a daughter brings immense happiness. People should not be sad on the birth of a girl child. People usually get sad when a girl child takes birth at their home. We decided to make all our three shops free on January 4 to show people that they should feel happy about the birth of a child irrespective of its gender.” Salman offered free services in all of his three salons for the entire day to all his customers.

The proud father served 70 to 80 people for free which was services worth around ₹3000 to ₹3500. Salman’s customers lauded the move. One of his customers stated to Hindustan Times, “It gives a positive message to the society that we all should celebrate the birth of girl child.” His message that everyone should celebrate the birth of a child irrespective of the gender is truly inspiring.
