In a recent development, Hawaii is planning to lift its COVID-19 quarantine requirements starting from March 26. Travellers from the US and other countries would no longer need to quarantine or show proof of vaccination or negative RT-PCR report. Many countries are made the booster shot compulsory for travel. And now Hawaii might soon require its visitors to have a COVID booster shot. The Hawaiian authorities are now looking to upgrade the requirements to three shots.

Once selected as a winner, you then have to agree to move within one month of the selection. After the first phase, applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, and the program may even expand to neighbouring islands pending its success. Well, that’s not it! The state also wants you to join the Pledge To Our Keiki program, where you will pledge to contribute your skills and expertise to improving local communities and businesses, as well as volunteering at Hawaiian nonprofit several hours a week.
