Jammu and Kashmir is all set to get helicopter services to help tourists explore far-flung tourist destinations in style. With this initiative, the Union Territory hopes to bring in high-end tourism. The J&K government will also launch Air rides and Air Safari over specific tourist locations including a rise over the pristine Dal Lake. So, the next time you visit Jammu & Kashmir on a holiday, you can opt for heli tourism to get up close with the snow-capped mountains.

Jammu & Kashmir To Start Helicopter Services To Increase Tourism

The tourism department of Jammu Kashmir will soon add helicopter services across different regions of the Union Territory to give tourists better connectivity to explore hidden gems. Expect Air Safari and Air Rides over scenic locations, witness fluffy white clouds, a panaromic view of the snowcapped mountains and the pristine Dal Lake from a bird’s eye view. With high-end tourism entering Jammu & Kashmir, tourists have a chance to add luxury to their itinerary. This decision was taken during a meeting chaired by Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Baseer Ahmad Khan.

Helicopter Rides To Provide Better Connectivity To Remote Tourist Destinations

According to Greater Kashmir, during this meeting, Baseer Ahmad Khan revealed that helicopter services will build connectivity to important destinations in Jammu & Kashmir. This in turn will welcome more tourists. He added that it will change travel and tourism in the region, opening up far-flung sightseeing spots.
