A Step-By-Step Guide On Booking Shimla Toy Train:
Visit the official website of IRCTC and register yourself.
- Click on the link mentioning ‘plan my travel’.
- Select the railway stations you would like to. For this ride, you need to select Shimla (SML).
- Fill up the necessary details; date of travelling, type of ticket, etc.
- If the coach and train are available, then click on ‘book ticket’.
- The ticket reservation page will appear after this. You will need to check whether all the details are the same as you opted for.
- Then add the details like the number of people, seat preferences, age, gender, etc.
- End the process by making the payment.
- You will receive an SMS and/or an email notification with all the necessary details after you are done with all these steps.
- You will have to print the details out if you have not chosen the e-ticket option.
- There are mainly 2 options for the ticket; an e-ticket that will stay with you and an i-ticket which will be delivered to an address you submit.
For the journey of 96 km, around 5-6 hours, there are various types of toy train rides available.
