A Twitter user name Sahil, posted a picture of idli vada pav. In the picture you can see a potato vada, stuffed between two idlis, roasted like a pav and topped with sesame seeds. The South Indian snack, idli is a steamed dish made of fermented black lentils and rice. While it’s mostly enjoyed with chutney and sambhar, the idli is used to prepare the pav. Vada Pav is a street food snack native to Maharashtra. The deep fried potato vada is placed between two slices of buttery bread or pav.
