Shah Rukh Khan Emerges As The Richest Indian Actor
As per the rankings, Amitabh Bachchan follows with a net worth of ₹4,000 crore, while Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan feature with ₹3,000 crore and ₹2,500 crore, respectively. While Shah Rukh Khan remains the richest Indian actor on the list, his reported wealth has declined from last year. The Hurun India Rich List 2025 had estimated his net worth at ₹12,490 crore. Earlier this year, the Hurun Global Rich List had put his wealth at ₹10,800 crore.
Amitabh Bachchan, meanwhile, has seen a significant rise in his reported wealth. His net worth has increased from ₹1,630 crore in 2025 to ₹4,000 crore this year. While Bachchan is not known to actively run a business, his family office has investments across several companies, and he also has significant real estate investments. Salman Khan is a new entrant to the list this year, with a reported net worth of ₹3,000 crore. Hrithik Roshan has also seen his wealth rise, from ₹2,160 crore in 2025 to ₹2,500 crore in 2026, with his brand HRX contributing to his business portfolio.

However, not every celebrity from last year’s list features this time. Juhi Chawla and Karan Johar, who had reported wealth of ₹7,790 crore and ₹1,880 crore, respectively, in 2025, do not appear on the 2026 list. Another notable name on the list is Naresh Malhotra, father of Ramayana producer Namit Malhotra. His reported net worth stands at ₹16,000 crore.
Who From The Indian Business Families Made It To The List?
Beyond Bollywood, the Hurun India Rich List 2026 features some of the country’s biggest business families. Gautam Adani and his family have reclaimed the top spot with a wealth of ₹9.23 lakh crore, followed by Mukesh Ambani and his family with ₹8.63 lakh crore.
Lakshmi Niwas Mittal and family rank third with ₹3.39 lakh crore, while Cyrus Poonawalla and family have a wealth of ₹3.03 lakh crore. Other notable names include Roshni Nadar Malhotra, Kumar Mangalam Birla, Dilip Shanghvi, Azim Premji, Anil Agarwal and Samir Mehta.

The 2026 list features 1,810 individuals with wealth of at least ₹1,000 crore, spanning sectors including technology, healthcare, manufacturing and artificial intelligence.
