Northeast India is home to picturesque landscapes with marvellous mountains, cascading streams, pretty hamlets, lush valleys and much more. And to offer 360-degree views of these magical surroundings, two Vistadome services have come up between Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. One of them will run between Assam’s Guwahati and Arunachal Pradesh’s Naharlagun. It will be a Vistadome coach attached to the Naharlagun-Guwahati Shatabdi Express. Another Vistadome Express will operate between Naharlagun and Assam’s Tinsukia. The Vistadome coaches will have large glass windows, glass ceilings and rotating chairs to provide stunning views of the surroundings.
Vistadome Services On Naharlagun-Guwahati-Naharlagun Shatabdi Express Begins On December 20
The Vistadome coach on Naharlagun-Guwahati Shatabdi Express will be operational from December 20, 2021. From Naharlagunm, the train will commence journey at 6:45 AM on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. From Guwahati, it will start its journey at 1:45 PM on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays. The total distance covered will be around 343 kilometres.

Naharlagun-Tinsukia Vistadome Express To Begin Services On December 21
The Vistadome Express running between Naharlagun and Tinsukia will begin services on December 21, 2021. From Tinsukia, the train will run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 4 PM. From Naharlagun, it will run on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 5:30 AM. The total distance covered will be around 225 kilometres.
These Vistadome coaches will have Wifi facilities and digital entertainment systems to allow travellers watch movies, short videos and more. They will also be equipped with CCTV cameras.
Guwahati-New Haflong Vistadome Route Extended Till Badarpur
Also, the route of the existing Guwahati-New Haflong Vistadome service will be extended till Badarpur from December 22. Earlier, the length of the route from Guwahati to New Haflong was around 269 kilometres. Now, the length has been extended to 341 kilometres. The train will depart from Guwahati at 6:45 AM and will leave Badarpur at 3:15 PM.
