Not for an aircraft breakdown or complaint, a user on Twitter said how IndiGo was charging him for being ‘cute’. The user took to Twitter to share a screenshot of the flight break-up charges. Among seat fees, development charges, airport security fees, convenience fees and others, there was always the cute charge, which he highlighted and wrote a quirky comment. He said, ‘I know I’m getting cuter with age but never thought IndiGo6E would start charging me for it.’

Certainly, the Twitter user named Shantanu made a hilarious impression with his tweet. His tweet garnered thousands of likes and reactions and hundreds of retweets. While some netizens played along with his joke, others were quick to explain what CUTE charges actually meant.

CUTE, is the abbreviation for Common User Terminal Equipment. The airlines charge this from passengers, which is mandated by the Airport Authority of India. It is a charge passengers give for using the facilities within the airport like metal detectors, escalators and others.

However, Shantanu gave a twist to this detail and managed to grab the attention of the netizens.
