Inside Look: Rahul Gandhi’s Container During Bharat Jodo Yatra | Curly Tales

Curly Tales Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, made the long trip to the village of Bande in Rajasthan’s Jaipur area for the most recent edition of Sunday Brunch, or should we say Sunday dinner? Our special guest time was none other than Congressman Rahul Gandhi, who is now walking 3570 kilometres as part of the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Let’s start with getting a sneak peek inside the container the politician has been staying in and travelling to remote places.

Rahul Has Been Resting At This Mobile Container Home For His Bharat Jodo Yatra

Kamiya got to enter one of the container homes much like the one Rahul Gandhi has been resting in throughout his  Bharat Jodo Yatra. This house-on-wheels is a comfortable space inclusive of 2 rooms to rest. It’s a very compact space so doesn’t expect anything grandeur just because it’s for the politician. The people joining him in this yatra have been provided with similar trailers.

The trailer with a white exterior imprinted with the campaign’s name has a beautiful wooden interior. The compact two-room space has beds and curtains along with some storage space provided.

After we caught him for Sunday dinner post a long tiring day of walking, Rahul expressed that he is always on the go and is hardly tired. In conversation with Rahul Gandhi, we got to know that Rahul is not a fussy eater at all. But given the conditions, he likes eating healthy. Well, his abs speak volumes about his eating habit, isn’t it?

Coming from a multicultural family background, Rahul Gandhi is usually served Indian cuisine back home. But when he is on the run, he doesn’t complain and eats whatever comes his way. But on the other hand, he doesn’t like Green peas and Jackfruit.

His expedition through the remote areas of India has been taking him on a cultural journey. He has been seen relishing local dishes like Bhakri and some really chilli-ful food in Telangana. That spicy food caused tummy issues for Rahul as well as for the yatris.

Stay tuned for more insights into Rahul Gandhi and his journey through India for the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
