It has been quite some days since the Government of India launched DigiYatri at the Indira Gandhi International airport. If you don’t know it, DigiYatri is a Biometric-based facial recognition technology that is used for paperless travel. After the introduction of this technology, different passengers shared their reviews and experiences. And now the JET Airways CEO, Sanjiv Kapoor revealed his reviews.

Sanjiv Kapoor took to his official Twitter account to talk elaborately about the newly launched facial recognition technology in Delhi airport. From sharing its advantages to pointing out the issues, he shared about the technology in length for the Tweeple. Check out his feedback tweets here:

Sanjiv Kapoor found setting DigiYatra “fairly easy once you set up Digi locker”, tweeted by him. He also felt some issues while uploading boarding passes and it also took him 2 or 3 attempts. Kapoor also shared his feedback about the staff at the Indira Gandhi Delhi International airport terminal. He tweeted that the lane dedicated to DigiYatra “was operational and staffed”. Also, the staff present there was very helpful too.

He also tweeted how the instructions for BP QR codes were not clear and after taking help from the staff, the face ID option worked fine. In fact, the DigiYatra lane inside the airport worked smoothly and the face ID also worked instantly.

Though most of the steps were incredibly smooth and functioned instantly, there were very few hiccups on the way. The Jet Airways CEO pointed out all the positive and negative aspects and shared detailed feedback on his DigiYatra experience. Lastly, he rated the experience “9/10”.
