1. Nizamuddin Dargah in Rockstar

Ranbir Kapoor starrer Rockstar is a movie that will live forever in our hearts. The innocent musician, rejected by society found home and peace. Kun Faya Kun created magic because Nizamuddin Dargah let it. This is one place that’s a safe haven to anyone. No judgement, no questions. Everybody’s family, nobody is hateful. The beauty lies not in the mouthwatering food, nor in the dazzling domes but in this very comradery. Spend A Winter Day With Dahi Butter Chicken, Delhi’s Best Kebabs & Veg Biryani At Nizamuddin!

2. Paharganj in Dev.D

Delhi’s Paharganj shone bright in all its neon glory in Anurag Kashyap’s groundbreaking success, Dev D. When we think of Paharganj, the infamous scenes of Dev D flash before our eyes. The red-light district, inebriation and gratification. Many scenes in the movie were shot without barricades or warning. That made the depiction very authentic. They shot while the local public went about their day as per usual. Today, this place is alive with food and friends looking for a good time.

3. Social, Hauz Khas in Tamasha

Agar Tum Saath Ho can melt the coldest of hearts. When Deepika lays her head next to Ranbir’s broken heart, we are reminded of just how iconic this one café is. It is the Hauz Khas Fort that made all this possible. The view from the huge windows is inescapable. The café is constructed in a mirror image of the Fort’s walls. It might even create the illusion of being inside the fort itself.

4. Connaught Place in 3 Idiots

There is no doubt that the white pillars circling Central Park are shoot-worthy. The multitude adds depth while the sheer engineering adds character. This blockbuster Bollywood film cashed in on this site. A comic scene becomes exponentially more memorable when Kareena chases Amir down through this structure, only to give it off to him. Connaught Place is the go to place for any traveller looking for a really Delhi nightlife experience. Food, spoken word, music or street vendors, whatever you’re looking for, it’s right here. The age-old buildings and libraries are the life that Bollywood tries to capture. Cha Bar Located In Delhi’s Oxford Bookstore Serves 150 Different Varieties Of Teas

5. Lajpat Nagar in Queen

We have to say, the gol gappe in Lajpat Nagar are amazing. Our Rani or Bollywood’s bold Queen Kangana is shown living a simple life in Lajpat Nagar. A life where you never have to leave the vicinity for anything you might need. Central Market has Delhi’s best chole bhature. No wonder Kangana said yes to Rajkummar. People do crazy things under the influence of chole bhature. He might be DDLJ worthy in real life but, the Bollywood Raj was no prince.

6. DLF Emporio in Aisha

If you want to experience Delhi’s posh life, go take a look inside DLF Emporio Mall in South Delhi. Here you’ll see Delhi’s rich and royal shopping or just cruising. Aisha’s father was complaining about a credit bill of ₹50,000. We assure you if you shop here, you might have to add another zero to that figure.

7. India Habitat Center in Rang De Basanti

This is where Atul Kulkari urf Laxman Pandey and the rest of the gang went from fist fight to friends. This is also where the gori lost her shiz. India Habitat Center remains a hotspot for art, culture and love. Rang De Basanti not only gave us complex characters but also a believable character development. We saw these people change through their drama rehearsals at India Habitat Center. That gave us hope for change in real life too. Their set stands for the same values till date. It houses some of the city’s best restaurants, most happening theatres and the beautiful open spaces posed as a college in the film.

8. Purana Qila in Dil Se

We will Chiaya Chaiya anywhere if you play the song. We love King Khan’s underrated genius in this film. Everytime we rewatch, a voice awakens Dil Se Re. The climax sequence was shot at Purana Qila where instead of a typical happy ending, the two blow themselves up. We’re not sure if Meghna wanted her lover to die with her or her stalker to just die. Either way, they died and made Purana Qila immortal in Bollywood. In the modern day and age, Old Fort is where we attend the iconic light show and the ASEAN music fest every year!
