Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani bought the luxury 5-star hotel Mandarin Oriental in New York for a whopping $98 million. The deal is expected to close by end of March. This iconic hotel nestled near Central Park overlooks the Columbus Circle. Mandarin Oriental just like many renowned establishments was badly hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, raking in just $15 million for the entire 2020 instead of the $113 million in 2019.
