Mumbai Metro Line 2A & Line 7: From Ticket Prices To Stations List, All You Need To Know!

The second phase of the Mumbai Metro lines is finally complete. The inauguration of the two lines will be done on the 19th of January by the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi. Mumbai Line 2A, which is the Yellow Line, and Line 7, which is the red line, will run parallelly which will significantly reduce traffic congestion between Dahisar East and D N Nagar, and on the New Link Road.

Mumbai Metro Line 2A & 7 Details

The second phase of the metro which is comprised of Lines 2A and 7, is 35 kilometres long. Line 2A is more than 18 kilometres long and will be running from Dahisar to D N Nagar in Andheri West. Line 7, on the other hand, is 16.5 kilometres long and will run from Dahisar East to Andheri East.

The two lines will have Dahisar as the common station. Moreover, the ticket prices of the metro will depend entirely upon the distance that the passenger is travelling. The prices will range from ₹10 to ₹50, which is very affordable for the average middle-class person. See the full lists of the prices and stations below.

  • ₹10 for 0-3 km
  • ₹20 for 3-12 km
  • ₹30 for 12-18 km
  • ₹40 for 18-24 km
  • ₹50 for 24-30 km
