Mumbaikars Pay Attention! Check Traffic Regulations Before Heading Out As G20 Summit Is In Full Swing

The Mumbai Police Department has announced new traffic regulations to ensure the smooth flow of commutes while making arrangements for the participants of the G20 summit. From parking to no parking, there is a list of directives you need to follow if you want to reach your destination on time. Let’s have a look at the new dos and don’ts of traffic rules.

Traffic Regulations: Parking, No Parking, And No Entry

The following set of regulations is not valid for emergency service vehicles including ambulances, fire trucks, and so on. Apart from that, every commuter needs to follow the given instructions from Monday at midnight till Friday at 4:00 pm. The route from Patuck College to the Grand Hyatt hotel is a no-entry zone for vehicles. Similarly, the route including Old CST Road, Nehru Road, and Hanuman Mandir to the Vakola pipeline is no entry zones.

Use The Alternate road Instead The Usual

All the vehicles coming from Patuck Junction College Road, Nehru Road, and Hanuman Mandir can head to Ambedkar Junction through Military Road and by taking right at Kalina Junction. Whereas the ones coming from Old CST Road can head up to Nehru Road, Western Express Highway, and Santacruz Station. They can proceed through the Vakola Junction.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mangesh Shinde, has asked people to cooperate and follow the given instructions. The G20 summit is important for the trade and commerce of all the countries participating.
