Company Responds And Tells Why This Must Have Happened

Zomato’s X account was quick to respond to the situation. According to their response, this usually happens when the restaurant partner runs out of packaging tape. They usually resort to packing it with whatever they have available at hand.

This time, it must have been the packaging tapes from Swiggy, and hence, the user received this weird unofficial “collaboration” between the two leading food delivery platforms in the country. The response also added that if there was anything wrong with his order, he was free to reach out.

They also said that regardless of the situation, they would make sure to reach out to the restaurant partner to ensure that this instance isn’t repeated.
