The offender must pay Dh5,000 to have the car released from custody. The vehicle will be in an auction if an individual doesn’t pay the fines within three months of being seized.

2. Exceeding The Speed Limit In Its Entirety

Drivers who are ticketed for breaching the vehicle speed by up to 50 km/h will receive a fine of Dh1,000.

3. Crowding Close To A Collision

Ambulances, emergency vehicles, traffic patrols, and civil defence are unable to arrive to the accident site in a timely manner due to congestion close to the scene. Crowding at accident scenes is punishable by a Dh1,000 punishment.

4. Parking At Spot Reserved For People of Determination

The group of people that fall under the category of people of determination are basically disabled people or the ones with special needs. Taking their spot will land you with six black points and a penalty of Dhs1000.

5. Coming to a complete stop in the middle of the street

While vehicles that have broken down in the center of the street are exempt from this infraction. Apart from this you will face fine of Dh1,000 if your car has stopped in the centre of the road without cause.

6. Sudden Lane Cutting

Changing lanes abruptly when driving will get you a penalty of Dh1,000 fine and four black penalty points. Furthermore, they can confiscate the car. If the motorist wishes to get it released, it requires a fine of Dh5,000. The car will be put up for auction if all penalties aren’t settled in 3 months.

Pay Traffic Fines Or Watch Your Vehicle Sold At The Auction

Abu Dhabi Police has mentioned this statement based on Law No. 5 of 2020. The action will take charge when the driver fails to fill fines worth three months or exceed the amount of AED 7000.
